Siga College of Management and Computer Science, Kappiyampuliyur, Villupuram.

In to broad vision, the management has selected Kappiyampuliyur for the establishment of this college of Arts and Science. The place is a pucca village surrounded by a number of villages. So students of these places need not go to faraway places to prosecute higher studies. This is a great boon to them.

In June 2011, we are to open a new course (P.G) Master of Social Work. Also there is heavy demand for the B.A.English and Computer Science Courses. To comply with the demands of the public, an additional section in the B.C.A. course will be opened in June 2011.It is interesting that the villagers of this area to keep pace with the modern trend.

In the interest of the students, a tutorial system has been arranged and 25 students are entrusted to each faculty member who will look after the attendance, character, and progress in study of the students. Weak students are also picked up and special attention is paid on them. Also Model Examinations just before the university exam is conducted so that students can face the university exam without difficulty.

Parents – Teacher Meet is held every year and the parents are appraised of the position and the progress of the students and the remedial measures are suggested to the parents.

Our students are encouraged to participate in various competitions held in other colleges and the university and get prizes / places and bring credit to the college.

Besides teaching, our college has extended its service to all the communities. We have

Glad to add that these units do excellent service to the public, particularly villagers and get their appreciation. The Management then and there fulfills the demands and the requirements of the College for its proper and smooth running.
