The Department of Computer Science was established in the year 2007 and elevated to PG department in 2008 to meet the demand for well qualified computer professionals. The vision of the department is the Global excellence and local relevance in the research, teaching and technology development.

Laboratory: The Department consists of highly equipped laboratory with 4 Mbps speed leased line internet connection and separate lab facility for both UG and PG students with more than 150 Systems.

Project: Project work is included in the curriculum and students are trained in projects.

Faculties: Our Department has well qualified teaching faculties and all are very active in research and academic expertise.

University Rank Holders: Ms.R. Keerthika of B.Sc. Computer Science (2012-15 Batch) secured III rank, Mr.G. Saravanan of B.Sc. Computer Science (2016-19 Batch) secured IV rank and Ms.M. Suganya of M.Sc. Computer Science (2013-15 Batch) secured IX rank in Thiruvalluvar University Examinations.

Seminars and Association Meetings: To enrich the knowledge of our students, the Department organizes Association meeting, Workshop, Seminar and Lectures through subject experts.

Placement: We offer good placements in leading MNC’s for our students through Placement cell.
